Great book! Considering use as a Core Text, depending on availability of RISC-V simulation tools.
We own (well, the library owns) paperback copies of the 1st edition. The decision to make it the main book of the course has already been taken. We were wondering if there is material which will make the task of creating slides easier. Seems as if not. That's about it.

The text have sufficient continuity from the earlier MIPS version that I was able to easily transition from using MIPS to RISC-V edition this semester. I have used the MIPS version for a long time, so I already think it is a great introductory book to Computer Organization.
