Audience
Students in clinical or medical programs with abbreviated physiology hours (PA [approx. 150 programs in US], some medical programs, NP, dental)
This book is pitched at a really good level for undergrad MBBS students, with a good feed from the volume of information required. A major downside of the book is the indexing of headings and subheading, which makes the chapters hard to navigate in a logical manner. For example, some of the subheadings are sentences instead of traditional headings. In general, great content, poorly organised and indexed.

This is an excellent textbook, serves perfectly for the first reading of physiological topics, very valuable for students of general medicine and dentistry. It contains very well designed schemes and graphs. All text is well organized into chapters and subchapters, the titles of which are take-home-messages for students.
I recommend Boron Physiology for UGs as reference and PGs as one of the core books of physiology
