Glossary
Nursing and health professions students taking an entry level microbiology course
The text is excellently structured, providing a sequential approach for microbiology students. This is a recommended companion for any student of microbiology as well as healthcare professionals.
This text is concise and to the point. I would highly recommend it especially for Medical students who don't really need an in-depth study of the subject.
Excellent book with clear explanations and accessible diagrams. Covers a wide range of interesting topics but not all are relevant to more specialised health care course such as dentistry hence I would recommend it as supplementary reading rather than a core course book. However in the case of medicine it is very suitable for the early years of a course.
An excellent resource for those wanting to extend their microbiology knowledge
This is a lovely introduction to microbiology. I will use it to teach various modules. The section on pharmaceuticals will be a great basis for introducing the topic of microbiology to Medicinal products students and the practical aspects are a lovely addition to a study text.
This book was up to date with relevant links back to investigation. I particularly like the study elements to this book.
