Well presented, clear and informative. Very good introductory text for students
This is a good book to inform clinicians of evidence-based practice in electrophysical agents.
This book is a welcome update to the area of EPA, given that many clinicians are not using these therapies due to the (often incorrect) assumption that 'there is no evidence to support their use'. Tim Watson has continued to provide updated evidence on his website throughout the last number of years that I have found very helpful in guiding the appropriateness of EPA use clinically. I have found this book a welcome addition to the resources I provide to UG physiotherapy students (in the early stages of their professional training).
It has been a few years since the last edition, and some things had been updated, of note the contraindications to the EPA modalities. This is a great book, with a balanced consideration of the evidence. I will be adopting this as my key recommended text. There is no core (required purchase) EPA text.
The book has up to date current issues in Electrotherapy
Excellent update to an already very useful book. Now includes radiofrequency too which is a particular interest of mine and on the course.
