Now in its seventh edition, this reputable textbook is an ideal introduction to the study of human
movement and an excellent reference encouraging and directing further study.
For the first time there is a chapter dedicated to measuring and understanding physical activity,
recognising the importance of this area to many health and sports professionals. More time is spent
explaining the basic principles of biomechanics and the way they can be used to improve practice,
including tissue mechanics and movement analysis techniques.
An Introduction to Human Movement and Biomechanics is the perfect guide for students and
professionals all around the world to consolidate learning and apply to real clinical/sports situation.
Information is given in a clear and accessible way, with case studies, illustrations, textboxes
and practical examples.

As a Lecturer using this textbook for teaching, I noticed that my students understand more when I recommended this textbook to them in Biomechanics. I assure you, this book is invaluable and you will find it very interesting to read and digest.
A strong overview of biomechanics from basic concepts, to more applied knowledge
Kerr -Rowe duo understands to put biomechanics to living situations and mixing functional anatomy all together. Illustrations are simple and yet full of information. KISS works -Let's keep all simple and safe in this matters.
The book contains key information on kinesiology for professionals working in the field of physiotherapy. It is one of the resources that can be used to better understand the fundamentals of human movement professionally.
we have used this book as recommended course material for a number of years and is good to see the new edition updated while maintain the useful content have relied upon from this book over the years. will remain on reading list
Excellent new edition
A nice book, but not as good as our core text for Physio, I think that if students were to use this book they would find it of benefit as you also get a review answer text to check knowledge. I will speak to our librarian about this text.
This book could serve as core literature for several sessions of three of my courses. I do not have mandatory literature, because I deal with multiple topics throughout my courses and therefore give reading recommendations. I am teaching about strength&conditioning, sportsphysiotherapy and motor learning. I can gain information for each of the courses from this book, because it has a great structure, comprehensive contents and I can get more specific on mechanic topics for further understanding and elevating the courses level. I definitely will add this book to my recommended reading list and will use it for course preparation. Therefore I wanted to ask, If it is possible to keep the digital copy and receive an additional printed copy (As I want to read the whole book and making notes about the content it is more convenient not to read it completely digitally and I always pass around my recommended books for the students to get an insight and I offer them to purchase copies for our library. Great book with great contents, which fits into several courses I am teaching and gives further depth of content.
Please can I have a hard copy inspection copy?

Gives students a basic grounding in how the human body moves and operates. Encourages review of information in order to apply it to horse riding.
Great book, will recommend to students
Excellent supplementary text for biomechanics.
