“Clearly links the molecular and cellular biological foundations of physiology to organ-system physiology, as well as its aberrations that become disease. Designed to show ‘expertise of a multi-author book with the consistency of a single pen’ the editors sought Yale professors of physiology and then recast their manuscripts into uniform style to become a reliable resource for medical students. The excellent color illustrations can reduce the need for additional hand-outs.¿

The best Medical Physiology book I know.
New edition of an excellent textbook which we recommend to student of general medicine. Valuable also for postgraduate students who are not medical doctors and need to get good background for their study.
Medical physiology is a well written and clearly illustrated wealth of information.
A really great physiology textbook that covers many different aspects of human physiology. Will be extremely useful for my Masters pharmacology students and I will likely use it for undergraduate courses in the future as well. I really like the linked online content which the book comes with access to. This will likely be a staple in my teaching for the next few years.
A very comprehensive book, excellent as a reference book for physiology students. Students do complain that it is 'too comprehensive' and usually ask for guided reading. Personally i don't like the images, i find them overly complicated and not particularly attractive.
In my opinion the best Physiology textbook, but our accreditation of the Academic studies prefers Guyton. Nevertheless I am preparing great chunks of materials from Boron.
Very good overview and well illustrated.
This is a very well written and clearly structured textbook. My part in the course covers Cellular Physiology and this book is really the best available resource for my students. I strongly suggested it and I used it to prepare my lessons.
